Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts to Edulecta: Journal of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Education. Submitted manuscripts must not have been published previously and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts should be written in English or Indonesian using Microsoft Word format and follow the journal template. The length of the manuscript should be between 3,500 and 5,000 words, including tables, figures, references, and appendices.

The title should be concise, informative, and consist of no more than 15 words. Author information must include full name, affiliation (study program, faculty, institution, city, and country), and email address. The maximum number of authors is five.

The manuscript must contain the following sections: Title, Author(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement (optional), and References. Abstracts must be written in English and Indonesian, with a maximum length of 200 words, followed by 3–5 keywords arranged alphabetically.

The Introduction should present the background of the study, research gap, novelty, objectives, and relevant literature. The Methods section should clearly explain the research design, participants or subjects, data collection techniques, and data analysis procedures. The Results and Discussion section should present research findings and discuss them critically in relation to previous studies and relevant theories. The Conclusion should summarize the main findings and contributions of the study.

Tables, figures, and graphs must be clearly numbered consecutively and referred to in the text. Table titles should be placed above the table, while figure and graph captions should be placed below the figure or graph.

References must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 6th Edition style using reference management software such as Mendeley. Authors are encouraged to cite recent and relevant scholarly sources. At least 80% of references should be derived from reputable national and international journal articles published within the last ten years. The minimum number of references is 40.

All manuscripts submitted to Edulecta: Journal of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Education will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make editorial changes without altering the substance of the manuscript.
